My husband asked me if I was talking again. Since my stomach had been rumbling this morning, I thought that was what he meant, and answered, “No, I don’t think so.” That’s when he tells me that I’ve been talking in my sleep again…really?
Apparently this morning it had something to do with “trundle”, and I only know one trundle, as in trundle bed. We don’t have a trundle bed, so now I’m thinking ‘what was in my dream?’ No idea, really, as I awakened somewhat miffed to find it out it was already 9 a.m. Usually, by 9 a.m., I’ve had two huge cups of coffee, answered a gazillion comments, and finished my political blog, so this morning there was nothing accomplished passed having had a conversation in my sleep about a “trundle?”
Talk about you wasted mornings. Perhaps sleeping until noon, might be a better strategy. Then he and I might have finished the conversation about “trundle” and I would know what in the heck had happened in my dream, not that I really care, you understand? This is turning out to be a strange weekend, where the dreams of my early mornings and late afternoon seem to be as worthy as my efforts at the keyboard.
Yesterday was not without a strategy, but it could have been ill-thought, at that. I got the laundry done…shh, the whites are still in the dryer. Did two loads of dishes; one must clean out the fridge once a week, and mopped the laundry room floor. I had aspirations of cleaning the outside of the old refrigerator so that we can take pictures; put it on Craig’s list, possibly selling it. As with the best laid plans of mice of and men, that was a lost cause. My nap interrupted all other plans made for the day. The trappings of working from home; if it doesn’t get done today, it can wait until tomorrow—sometimes getting done 6 months down the line.
Note to self, that refrigerator cannot wait 6 months to get sold; you have cabinets that you cannot get too because it’s in the way. Maybe this afternoon…maybe, or maybe not…time will tell???
You are not alone, my husband tells of me doing a "Zena" yell in my sleep. Do you remember the show "Zena Warrior Princess?" I cannot intentionally do one while awake. Carolyn
ReplyDeleteLMaoo that's too funny. I don't think I've done that but he's had a good time talking to me in my sleep. Apparently, talking to someone that cannot have the forethought to argue is more fun...LOL
